  1. Shareware Registration Database on CompuServe.

  3. MicroCook's Shareware Registration, ID#: 3595
  4. MicroCook WITH 3200+ recipes, SWREG ID#: 3625

  6.      If you have a CompuServe(tm) account there's a very easy way
  7. to register MicroCook and other shareware. CompuServe (CIS) has
  8. set up a database just for shareware authors where they can list
  9. their shareware program. When the program is accepted to the
  10. database, it's assigned an ID number. To get to the Shareware
  11. Registration database type: GO SWREG from any CIS prompt. 
  12.  
  13.      When you register shareware with SWREG, the registration fee
  14. will be added to your CIS account. No credit cards or checks in
  15. the mail are needed! After you have registered, CIS will send the
  16. author an E-mail with your name, address, phone number
  17. (optional), preferred disk size, number of copies you want to
  18. register and program name. This way the author can send you the
  19. registered version in a much shorter time.

  21.      If you want ONLY to register MicroCook, use ID# 3595. A
  22. charge of $15.00 will then be added to your CompuServe account.  
  23. But if you also want a 3.5", 1.44Mb floppy disk with over 3,200
  24. recipes in MicroCook's ASCII format, use ID# 3625. Then you will
  25. be charged for $20.00 on your CompuServe account. These recipes
  26. are available only through U.S. mail to registered users. The
  27. recipes are an OPTION, and you do NOT have to purchase them. A
  28. good search word for anything regarding MicroCook is - MICROCOOK.

  30.      If you want to receive your personalized KEY file's Serial
  31. and Control number via e-mail, please send me a note after you
  32. have registered in SWREG. I'll then send you the necessary data 
  33. so you can create your KEY file from the Registration menu in
  34. MicroCook. You'll probably receive this the same day as you
  35. register. This way you can get the "Please Register" messages off
  36. the screen a lot faster. The disk(s) with the registered copy,
  37. recipes and KEY file will still be mailed to you via postal
  38. service.

  40.      For more detailed instructions regarding how to use SWREG,
  41. please read the "Registration Instructions" after you have
  42. reached the Shareware Registration database (GO SWREG) on CIS.
  43.      For those who do not want to use this CompuServe service,
  44. you can still send in your registration via mail, or use your
  45. credit card. See ALBERTS.TXT, REGISTER.TXT and/or CREDIT.TXT
